Wig caps (a sort of lining between the wig and the scalp or natural hair) keeps the undersurface of your wig clean and maximizes comfort . Wig caps can also be used to "shorten" long hair. Simply braid your hair and tuck it into the cap. Presto! A new look.
First, gently pick or comb your wig out thoroughly before washing it. Then wet your wig completely with tepid (warm) water. Choose a mild shampoo, work it in and leave in for 5 minutes. Rinse it out with cold water. Then thoroughly blot it dry with a towel.
Follow by working in a conditioner; leaving it in for 5 minutes. Rinse and towel dry. Leave the wig on a towel or wig stand to dry over night at room temperature.
Don't comb or brush your wig when it's wet! When it's completely dry, simply brush into your desired style. Important! Allow your wig to dry naturally!
