Sometimes LPT causes follicles to 'awaken' a few weeks early in their hair growth phase. This causes the old dormant hair that's still present to suddenly get ejected. This is normal and you may actually see a temporary wave of increased loss. Don't be alarmed by this! It will settle down - and is actually a good sign that you're responding well to the treatment. Most people don't notice any increased shedding. Even though this experience is most often a positive sign, it's absence isn't a negative one either. Also bear in mind that it is perfectly normal to lose a little hair every day. The problem with pattern loss is primarily one of having insufficient re-growth.. |

DHT - it's now an advertising buzzword, blaming all hair loss to that bad body chemical... The reality is far more complex. DHT works by attaching itself to a genetically predetermined hair follicle and breaking it down. It affects the blood supply feeding the hair, causing it to become damaged. DHT slowly chokes off the supply of nutrients (and waste removal) and thins out the hair over time. However DHT only seems to negatively effect hair growing on the scalp! It may actually increase hair production elsewhere. HairBeam works by raising the energy levels in all the cells associated with hair-growth. Studies have conclusively shown an increase in blood and energy flow to the hair root and follicle when exposed to HairBeams's Laser Photo Therapy light. The follicle and hair root are exposed to more nutrients and are better able to dispose of the build-up of wastes and DHT which may have accumulated. Additionally, healthy cells are less affected by the negative effects of DHT. The follicle is more likely to produce a stronger, healthy hair shaft growing for a much longer period of time. Remember: that only from a healthy root, can a hair actually grow. HairBeam is a great root treatment. |

Laser is an acronym. It stands for Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. There are many different types of lasers. But think of it this way. Regular light is made up of many different colors and frequencies. It's like a crowd of people all roaming around at random. A laser is monochromatic and coherent.. Meaning it's made up of only one color at a specific frequency. It's like getting that crowd of people to all march in a straight single line. Thus a laser can pack a far greater energy punch than it's more common light cousin. |

LED is short for light-emitting diode. LED light is produced by a solid state process called electroluminescence. LED's are not all lasers. In fact most are not. Only under specific conditions do solid state light sources produce coherent light. These are known as laser diodes. (Like the light in those laser pointer pens). HairBeam uses 5 infra-red LED lasers plus 2 LED's. Infra-red can't be seen by the human eye . but it's far more energetic than the visible red light lasers other's may use. In fact ordinary visible red-light lasers don't do much good at all in stimulating hair growth. |

Contemporary laser therapies have been developed to treat all types of sports injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, reduce and control pain, provide accelerated wound healing and as a painless way to do acupuncture - without the use of needles. Laser therapy is a highly effective and non-invasive modality, the user feels no pain. Your library, many MD's/GP's and www.laser.nu are additional excellent sources of reliable and credible information if you wish to establish more proof about the effectiveness and efficacy of hair laser and skin treatments.

Rest assured we're not just mouthing some marketing puffery. Versacchi & MKW Laser Systems have combined their collective 30 years experience in order to develop the finest, technologically advanced instrument available. Other companies may use standard red-light lasers in their units. Some just have red-light LED's. These are all basically useless. HairBeam employs 5 infrared lasers with dispersion lens that make direct contact with your scalp. This ensures that the laser light is absorbed directly into the hair root cells precisely where it's needed. There's no loss or divergence of the laser light as with other poorly made models. |

HairBeam starts working immediately, but visible results will take a little time. Depending upon the individual, how far hair loss has advanced, and how long it's been thinning, the first signs of improvements begin to show after two or three months. Improvement peaks at around 18 months. The first positive signs will be a significant decline or cessation of continued hair loss. The second sign is the improved feel and obvious increase in the tensile strength of your hair. The third sign is your hair's overall appearance. It'll be thicker, fuller and healthier. Remember: HairBeam isn't a quick fix "miracle cure" solution. Those "miracle cures" are just gimmicks that can't and don't work. |

Yes indeed. Men and women alike can safely use HairBeam in combination with any other hair treatments. It will compliment the stimulative effects of any other drugs or therapy solutions in a very positive way, in fact, by combining both together your hair may very well grow even faster. (This is called synergy – the result is greater than the sum of the parts)
